Local leadership class visits 601st AOC
Participants in the Bay County Chamber of Commerce's 2010-11 Leadership Bay
Class toured the 601st Air and Space Operations Center as part of a day-long
orientation visit to Tyndall Air Force Base Feb. 16. Founded in 1983,
Leadership Bay is a community leadership development program sponsored by
the Chamber and composed of people from all parts of the community. Its
mission is to cultivate a broadened network of well-informed leaders whose
strengthened commitment to community involvement will affect positive change
in Bay County. Program participants exchange ideas with other emerging
leaders and prepare to assume leadership positions in Bay County.
