Local leadership class visits 601st AOC
Participants in the Bay County Chamber of Commerce's 2010-11 Leadership Bay Class toured the 601st Air and Space Operations Center as part of a day-long orientation visit to Tyndall Air Force Base Feb. 16. Founded in 1983, Leadership Bay is a community leadership development program sponsored by the Chamber and composed of people from all parts of the community. Its mission is to cultivate a broadened network of well-informed leaders whose strengthened commitment to community involvement will affect positive change in Bay County. Program participants exchange ideas with other emerging leaders and prepare to assume leadership positions in Bay County.
