Alumni Celebrate 25th Air Division’s 75th Anniversary
Steven Dean (right), 25th Air Division alumni, talks about his time working in the Western Air Defense Sector’s building when it was the 25th Air Division during a 75th anniversary commemoration event, Oct. 25, 2023, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Dean started working at the 25th Air Division in December 1987 and continued serving for 17 years. The 25th Air Division deactivated in 1990, and its assets were transferred to the Northwest Air Defense Sector and then the Western Air Defense Sector in 1995.
