1AF leaders visit the Combined Force Space Component Command (CFSCC)

During a visit to Vandenberg Air Force Base, Cal., First Air Force (1AF) leaders (seated, L to R) Lt. Col. Patrick O’Hara, chief of HSFS-PR at the Combined Space Operations Center explain the layout of rescue forces and risk assessments for personnel recovery forces for a recent NASA human space flight mission. First Air Force, operating out of Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., continues to progress toward achieving initial operating capability for USSPACECOM’s human spaceflight support mission by the end of 2021.
