MAFFS 8 takes off from Peterson Space Force Base

A 302nd Airlift Wing aerial firefighting C-130 takes off Aug. 24, 2021, at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, to support firefighting and suppression efforts in the western U.S. The mission is unique to the Air Force Reserve, supporting efforts made by civilian aircraft as well as Air National Guard units.
