Commander opens 151st Canada Day

Lt. Gen. R. Scott Williams, Commander, 1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern) – Continental U.S. Region, makes opening remarks much enjoyed by Royal Canadian Air Force LCol Brian Murray, the CONR Canadian Detachment commander, during locally-observed Canada Day festivities at Bonita Bay June 29. Officially celebrated July 1, Canada Day celebrates the Constitution Act, which in 1867, brought together the colonies of the Province of Canada, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick into what is now known as Canada.
