After Hurricane Irma

After Hurricane Irma passed over Patrick Air Force Base, Florida in the early morning hours of Sept. 11, 2017, 920th Rescue Wing crews regrouped and prepared their rescue aircraft for search and rescue efforts throughout South Florida. After canvassing Florida for two days, it was determined that no air rescues were needed and U.S. Northern Commanded took the 920th off of alert status (U.S. Air Force photo/1st Lt. Stephen J.
