During an animal-related disaster-response workshop at the Bay County Fairgrounds Feb. 28, a Medical Reserve Corp representative (right) talks with a resident who came to the workshop shelter with her “seeing-eye dog.” The workshop event brought together a wide variety of emergency response agencies and focused on practicing providing disaster response assistance not only to people, but also their pets, to include service animals.
