TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Royal Canadian Air Force Detachment Sgt. Jean-Francois Parent, President of the Canadian Mess, received a commemorative print of a Spitfire aircraft from Brig. Gen. David Hicks, 1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern) Vice Commander, during the Canadian Detachment’s Battle of Britain Remembrance Ceremony at the Mess Sept. 22. Hicks received the print from the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Canadian Airshow Sept. which Hicks attended Sept. 4-7 as the U.S. Air Force representative.
