POW/MIA run
9/19/2014 – TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Canadian Royal Air Force members run in the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action 24-hour Vigil Run Sept. 18-19. BGen Alain Pelletier, Continental United States NORAD Region deputy commander, Maj Bruno Baker, executive officer, and LCol Scott Greenough, Canadian Detachment commander, participate in the 25-year tradition started by the 81st Range Control Squadron. More than 200 runners from 24 units around the installation ran in the relay event at Flag Park. National POW/MIA Recognition Day is traditionally observed on the third Friday in September each year.
