Col. Derek France, 325th Fighter Wing commander, congratulates Todd Bailey, an operations training specialist assigned to Air Forces Northern’s Operations Directorate, on his Team Tyndall-level award for Tenant Unit Civilian of the Quarter, Category II. On the other side of Bailey is 325th FW Command Chief Master Sgt. Christoper Lantagne. Bailey was lauded for his exceptional skills managing readiness issues and his ongoing commitment to higher education, recently earning academic distinction finishing among the top 25 percent of his class. Also selected for a Team Tyndall-level award in the Company Grade Officer of the Quarter category was Capt. Matthew Shemo, a search and rescue duty officer with the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center who was unable to attend the ceremony. He was recognized for his superb management of more than 1300 potential distress cases and for completion of a rigorous Firefighter, First Responder and CPR course which resulted in his certification as State of Florida Firefighter.
