National Guard efforts leading to success on the U.S.-Mexico Border

Master Sgt. Darryl S. Ennels, of the 175th Civil Engineer Squadron, in the green battle dress uniform, directs concrete pouring into forms used to create bases for light poles which are positioned between the primary and secondary fences along the Arizona-Mexico border, June 6, 2007. Two members of the North Dakota Army National Guard 188th Engineer Company are troweling the concrete as it fills the form. The joint force mission of Task Force Diamondback, under Operation JUMP START, is to erect and reinforce segments of border fence and to construct obstacles along the border to help secure the southwest U.S.-Mexico border.
