Flu Shot season underway at 1st AF

TYNDALL AFB, Fla. -- Lt. Gen. Scott Williams, Commander, 1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern) and Commander, Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region, asks Lt. Col. Greg Martin, 1st Air Force surgeon's office, "Did you already give me the shot?" after the painless flu shot. Williams was first in line for the flu shot season Sept. 30. The 1st AF surgeon's office is aiming to administer flu shots to approximately 600 command personnel. Martin has overseen the flu shot program at 1st AF for the past four years.
