2010 Flood ARCHER
Civil Air Patrol Maj. Doug Ployhar operates CAP’s ARCHER system during disaster relief operations in the Red River Valley, which separates Minnesota and North Dakota. ARCHER (Airborne Real-time Cueing Hyperspectral Enhanced Reconnaissance) is an aerial imaging system that produces high-resolution aerial images that assist emergency management officials in their assessment of flood damage.
