Media invited to Track Santa LIVE on Christmas Eve Published Dec. 23, 2010 TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Members of 601st Air and Space Operations Center will be tracking Santa Claus on part of his journey around the world on Christmas Eve, and media are invited to visit 'America's AOC' to capture his journey. In conjunction with the North American Aerospace Defense Command's "NORAD Tracks Santa" program, the AOC will monitor jolly old Saint Nick as he makes stops across the Continental U.S., Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Media interested in accessing the AOC to track Santa *must* confirm attendance TODAY by calling (850) 282-0725 or send an email to andrew.scott@tyndall.af.mil. Once confirmation is made, those with validated press credentials should meet at the Tyndall AFB Visitors Center at the Sabre Gate no later than 9 a.m. Friday to be escorted to the AOC Operations Floor.
