1 st AF (AFNORTH) - CONR hosts Logistics and Engineering Homeland Defense Workshop
Members of the NORAD and U.S. Northern Command logistics community, along with strategic partner representatives from the Defense Logistics Agency, Strategic Command and Alaska Command, gathered for a NORAD & NORTHCOM J4 Logistics and Engineering Homeland Defense Workshop at the Killey Center for Homeland Operations Aug. 7 – 9.
The workshop helped develop a common understanding of different challenges in planning, preparing and sustaining operations in defense of North America across the logistics community. It was co-facilitated by NORAD and U.S. NORTHCOM and AFNORTH logistics personnel. Lessons learned from this workshop will enhance the capability to respond to any logistics and engineering support requirements for the defense of North America and unify the logistics and engineering community.
