25th Air Division Emblem
The 25th Air Division was established on Oct. 25, 1948, in Silver Lake, Washington. It later relocated to McChord Air Force Base, Washington, on Sept. 15, 1951, until its deactivation on Sept. 30, 1990. The assets where transferred to the Northwest Air Defense Sector and later to the Western Air Defense Sector in 1995. (Courtesy of the United States Army Institute of Heraldry
