First Air Force Commander Visits the 138th Fighter Wing

TULSA, Okla. --   First Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General William Etter visited the Oklahoma Air National Guard's 138th Fighter Wing in Tulsa Okla., 24 June, 2014 to fly a routine training mission with the F-16 pilots of the 125th Fighter Squadron.

Etter was greeted upon his arrival by 138th Fighter Wing Commander Colonel David Burgy, 125th Fighter Squadron Director of Operations Lieutenant Colonel Mathew Bertelli, and Captain Tyler Davis 138th FW Executive Officer.

After arriving, the General was taken to the Aircrew Flight Equipment office in the 125th Operations building to don his flight gear and conduct pre-flight equipment checks.

Major David Phillips of the 138th Operation Group, conducted the pre-flight brief with Etter prior to take-off. After the flight brief, Lt Gen Etter along with 125th Fighter Squadron pilots Lt Col Chris Sample, Capt Mike Coloney and Maj Travis Clegg, departed for their training mission.
