Major General Morrow visits Winnipeg
Major General Hank Morrow, Commander of Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region, and Commander, 1st Air Force (AFNORTH), Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida paid a special visit to 1 Canadian Air Division/Canadian NORAD Region Headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 21.
Maj. Gen. Morrow was greeted with a General Salute from Sgt Chris Ritchot, a Guard of Honor and then signed the official guest book.
As the Joint Force Air Component Commander for NORAD and U.S. Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Morrow develops contingency plans and conducts U.S. Air Force operations in CONUS, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and over U.S. maritime approaches.

Brenda Wisham review a briefing Sept. 12 as they outline plans to collect aerial imagery after Hurricane Ike passes across the eastern coast of Texas. The 601st IRD – short for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance division – remains on an around-the-clock schedule to provide a critical link between disaster response forces poised on the storm’s front lines and manned and unmanned imagery aircraft flying overhead. RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- An Air Force Reserve aircrew assigned the 331st Air Expeditionary Group here prepares to rescue a family trapped on their roof by flood waters from Hurricane Ike. ACCE team deploys for Ike
Members of the AFNORTH ACCE team stow their cargo prior to the team’s deployment in support of anticipated relief efforts for Hurricane Ike.
