Air Forces Northern helps support federal hurricane relief efforts
During Hurricane Harvey crisis-action team operations at the 601st Air Operation Center here, national-level media coverage of military search and rescue operations in the stricken area reflected the critical importance of that mission. Both personnel and logistical resources came from across the Air Forces Northern enterprise to assist Northern Command’s support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s response to Hurricane Harvey.
